Dit blijft sindsdien onrustig in de streek. Wegens een Koerden in de verschillende landen blijft autonomie voorlopig iets het ver weg is. Onafhankelijk met elkander zijn een Koerdische landstreek’s te zwak teneinde zelfstandig te bestaan en de overheersende landen Iran, Irak, Turkije en Syrië laten deze strategische gebied’s niet ineens Kurdustan gaan.
